Bank Robbery July 18 2012

Bank Robbery: 600 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast (Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation/Metropolitan Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force are investigating the bank robbery of the PNC Bank located in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. On Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at approximately 2:45 pm a lone male entered the PNC Bank in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Ave, SE and verbally demanded money. After obtaining US currency from the teller, the suspect exited the bank. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’10”-6’2” in height, 180-200 pounds, medium complexion, and a mustache. He was last seen wearing what appeared to be prescription eye glasses, a blue New York Yankees baseball hat, grey pants, and a light blue shirt with a dark collar that has a pocket on the left side. The suspect was also wearing dark colored shoes with a white bottom. If you believe that you see this subject, do not take action, and please call 911 immediately. The subject may be armed.
